Back to Pigeon Cay, Cat Island, Fall/Winter 2021-22

Let me be the first to welcome our homeowners
Back to Pigeon Cay this fall and winter 2021 to 2022.

It’s been a crazy two years, yet life on Cat has been remarkably manageable compared to most of the world. Our great medical team on the island responded quickly when the first COVID-19 case was detected. The number of positive cases have been well managed and vaccinations and Rapid Antigen testing are widely available on island. For the most part, everyone on Cat has been very observant regarding social distancing, sanitation and wearing mouth and nose coverings. Every store has a hand-sanitizer dispenser as you walk in and extra masks for sale in case you forgot yours. Restaurants are open and all stores are resupplied weekly.

Seacor shipping is sailing to Cat once a week and Western Air is flying several days a week between The Bight and Nassau. Makers Air has continued to transport passengers and supplies between Fort Lauderdale and The Bight.

This has been the best place to wait out the pandemic. And we’re especially happy to have homeowners returning for the holidays, or just to escape the craziness of what’s become the ‘new-normal’.
