Sunday Sept. 24, 2017 – Hurricane Maria has moved well past Cat Island. It was reported from someone on Cat yesterday that the sun was shining and there was only a very light sprinkle of rain with 15mph wind, which is more of a strong breeze. The National Hurricane Center is projecting there will still be two more named storms this season in the Caribbean, so we’ll be watching, but nothing on the outlook for the next week.
