Dear Subscriber,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing as President of the Cat Island Rake N Scrape Festival Association regarding the annual festival here in beautiful Cat Island.
The Honourable Prime Minister was on Cat Island last month and advised us to begin preparation for a festival in June this year, we are excited and ready to make this the most memorable event to date.
The Rake N Scrape Festival this year will be held during Labour Day /Whit Monday holiday weekend, Thursday June 2nd – Monday June 6th 2022 and is planned to be filled with uplifting fun, music, farmer’s and fishermen’s markets, arts, crafts, other cultural and educational events and of course our own signature Rake N Scrape Music.
Having had no festival for 2 years due to COVID-19, as you can imagine we have much renovation of the site to do in order to provide a quality, signature event. We would like to replace and repair portions of the perimeter fence, properly partition and repair the vendor stalls; repair restrooms; rebuild family picnic tables and park benches and install safe and secure electrical outlets where needed throughout the site.
We are asking for your support, sponsorship or donation to assist us with this monumental task.
